July timetable
The July 2026 graduation ceremonies will take place between Wednesday 15 July 2026 and Friday 24 July 2026 (excluding weekends). We anticipate publishing a detailed timetable by the beginning of March.
Confirmation of the exact ceremony date and time will be confirmed in your email invitation. Invitations will be sent out at the beginning of April 2026. Please note we reserve the right to make changes to the ceremony schedule after we have published the timetable, so it is possible that your ceremony date and time could differ on your invite from the date and time on this timetable, although we do aim to keep any changes to a minimum.
You can only attend the ceremony to which you are invited and if you do not attend you will graduate 'in absentia', and will not be be invited to a future ceremony. If you wish to attend a future ceremony, you must let us know in advance of your ceremony that you cannot attend, and we will consider your request to defer. Please note you can only defer ceremonies on one occasion only.
PhD students will be assigned to the most appropriate ceremony wherever possible and this will be confirmed in the online invitation.
Should a ceremony be oversubscribed we reserve the right to transfer students to an alternative ceremony.
