If you have an idea for an event that is not already listed, why not consider applying to the Postgraduate Researcher Environment Development Fund (PREDF). This fund provides a small amount (maximum £2000 per project) of funding for PGR-led initiatives that directly benefit groups of PGRs within the University and have an impact on the researcher environment.

The PG society hold events, meal nights and trips for postgraduates and their families. PGR coffee morning sessions offer a chance to meet members of the Student's Union and Researcher Environment Team, or just come along for a coffee and a chat.

Other events

European Researchers' Night takes place all over Europe on the last Friday of September. It gives the public a chance to meet researchers and find out about their latest discoveries. FameLab is a research communication competition.
