Come along to an on-campus Postgraduate Open Day and discover all there is to know about our wide range of postgraduate taught courses, research degrees and professional development options at the University of Huddersfield.
Open Day experience
Our Postgraduate Open Days are a great way to discover what your postgraduate options are at Huddersfield.
- Find out about taught Master’s courses, Professional Development opportunities, Teacher Training options, Master’s by Research degrees and PhD level courses.
- Talk to academic and research staff.
- Chat to current postgraduate students.
- Explore the various student support teams.
- Understand the funding options available.

Find out what’s happening on the day, including talk times and a floorplan of who will be there.
What’s planned for the day?
3pm – 5:30pm
Head into our Postgraduate Fair where you’ll find stands showcasing our academic subject areas, our Schools and our range of support services.
If you’ve not visited us before, take a tour of campus, by heading to our Help Desk to join the next tour.
3.30pm–4.30pm – Postgraduate Study and Finance talk
Listen to our presentation covering the different aspects of undertaking postgraduate study and the funding support available.
3.30pm–4.15pm - Postgraduate Teacher Training talk
Alternatively, learn about training to teach across various educational stages: early years, primary education (PGCE), secondary education (PGCE), and the post-14 lifelong learning sector. You can also learn more about the possibility of a tax-free bursary for eligible students.
