Register with the Health Centre
We recommend that you register with the University Health Centre if you're going to be living in student or private accommodation within a three mile radius of the University campus. Registration is quick and easy. Visit the Health Centre Registration webpage and follow the instructions for pre-registration. You could complete one of the following steps to speed up the registration process:
- Complete both pages of the pre-registration form and submit it. This will not register you fully with the Health Centre but will speed up your registration when you attend.
- Download and complete the registration pack, then bring this along to your registration slot scheduled by your department as part of your induction. If your department hasn't identified a specific registration slot as part of your induction, just call into the Health Centre at any time during the week (9.00am-4.00pm) to register.
Out of area registrations
If you live out of the practice area but study or work within a three mile radius of the University campus you’re able to register. As you’ll be registering as an 'out of area' patient, this means that if you were sick at home we wouldn't be able to offer you a home visit. However, there are systems and processes in place whereby you can access urgent care closer to your home address.
Please call the Health Centre on +44 (0)1484 430386 if you need more information.
